Fashion Design is a thing now, at least in Universities across the middle east. Also, a lot of institutes have a full curriculum in this major.
Taste and Creativity is a key player in this field, but a lot of people who graduate from Fashion Design don’t make it to the top, thus buried in between the traditional work with no creativity at all.
Apart from that, yesterday I was forced to go out for shopping, and I was thinking about a person who could help in this process since it requires a lot of attention due to the huge amount of clothes, colors, designs and so on. Add to that a lot of Men hate this process as well. Of course, VIP people got lucky and have their own Fashion consultants or even Designers. But what about us, the rest of the world?
From there I was thinking about Fashion Design students and those who are interested in this field. Why don’t they try to work as consultants while studying to gain some experience and money as well. So the student or the employee visit the customer, check his wardrobe, listen to his needs and check the market for what is there, then take the client to get his clothes from a pre-prepared list.
As a student, marketing your self is not that difficult. You could start a blog or an Instagram/Twitter account to share the latest trends around the world and how to choose the right colors.
I believe that Fashion Design students or people who are interested in this field could get Job Opportunities for them selves and build their career working with a lot of customers before even graduating.
